Tombow MONO Tough Eraser – Small

The MONO Tough is Tombow's answer to one of the most common eraser frustrations: the eraser that snaps clean in half under a firm grip or breaks off in chunks when pressed into a corner. Built on the same trusted MONO erasing compound, the Tough introduces a new formula specifically engineered for break resistance — stiffer and less prone to flexing under pressure without sacrificing the clean, low-abrasion erasing the MONO name is associated with. The result is an eraser that holds up to the kind of daily, heavy-handed use that would quickly destroy a standard block eraser.

The sleeve design is as considered as the compound itself. Front and back alternating diagonal cuts distribute pressure evenly across the eraser surface rather than concentrating it at one point — the main cause of snapping in conventional sleeves. An arrow mark on the sleeve indicates where to place a finger to further reduce flexing during use, and the sleeve is perforated along its length for easy shortening as the eraser wears down. The small format is compact enough for a pencil case or pocket.
