I have been having a hard time getting ahold of the Archive ink in black by De Atramentis but this is a really nice alternative. The colour is really deep and the consistency is beautiful.

It is truly waterproof as I use it mainly for drawing then adding watercolour. As well it is very black with no grayish tone. My experience with this store was good. The ink arrived well packaged and did not leak. Will order again from this company.

CanadaThe best waterproof FB ink ive used
Most fountain pen inks are not waterproof, of course. Some claim to be but many are simply a little "water resistant" but the De Atramentis is indeed very waterproof. I do a lot of ink drawings that I then touch up with watercolour so the ink not only needs to resist water but also take the abrasion from the brush. This ink delivers, without fail.
