Original design, redefined. The Kaweco Original Fountain Pen in Black combines a solid aluminum body, a matte anodized finish, and chrome-plated silver trim. Its octagonal shape draws on writing instruments of the late 1950s, and the convex grip section sets it apart from other Kaweco series.

This version has an Extra Broad (BB) nib, often used for large, dramatic signatures. The German-made nib screws in, so it can be swapped for any 250 nib variation. The barrel is long enough for a large Kaweco standard converter, so you can fill from Kaweco ink cartridges or ink bottles (converter sold separately). Well balanced for extended writing, it also clips securely to a notepad or shirt pocket.

Features

  • Solid aluminum body, matte black anodized finish
  • German-made Extra Broad (BB) nib
  • Screw-in nib, interchangeable with 250 nibs
  • Cartridge/converter filling (Kaweco standard converter sold separately)
  • Permanently mounted clip
  • Length: 12.6 cm | Diameter: 13.5 mm | Weight: 26 g
