Yamamoto Ro-Biki Note Canvas Cover – Beige

The Ro-Biki Note Canvas Cover is the everyday carry companion to Yamamoto's Ro-Biki notebook series — a hand-sewn canvas organiser built around the idea that everything you need for a day of writing should travel together in one considered object. The beige colourway is the most natural and understated of the range, a warm off-white that softens and develops its own character with use. The 16 oz thick cotton canvas is stiff and structured when new, and gradually becomes more supple and comfortable in the hand as it breaks in — the kind of material that looks better at one year than it does on day one, and better still at five.

The cover holds up to five Ro-Biki notebooks simultaneously using two adjustable silicone Mobilon bands, and the pocket layout is considered enough to carry most of what a daily writing kit requires. Three surface pockets on the outside handle notebooks, a smartphone, and quick-access items. A zippered interior compartment secures smaller loose items — cards, tickets, keys. A pen slot on the spine keeps a writing instrument within reach without opening the cover. The whole thing closes with a robust elastic band that also incorporates an additional pen loop. Each cover is handcrafted in small batches at a Japanese garment factory, and no two will age in exactly the same way. Also fits as an insert in a standard TRAVELER'S Notebook leather cover.
