Yamamoto Ro-Biki Note Canvas Cover – Vintage Blue

The Ro-Biki Note Canvas Cover is the everyday carry companion to Yamamoto's Ro-Biki notebook series — a hand-sewn canvas organiser built around the idea that everything you need for a day of writing should travel together in one considered object. Vintage Blue is the most evocative colour in the range — a faded, muted blue that looks as though it has already lived a life, sitting somewhere between workwear denim and a well-worn field jacket. It is a colour that suits the material perfectly: the 16 oz thick cotton canvas will continue to shift and deepen in tone as it breaks in, so the Vintage Blue you carry in a year's time will look meaningfully different from the one that arrives at your door.

The cover holds up to five Ro-Biki notebooks simultaneously using two adjustable silicone Mobilon bands, and the pocket layout is considered enough to carry most of what a daily writing kit requires. Three surface pockets on the outside handle notebooks, a smartphone, and quick-access items. A zippered interior compartment secures smaller loose items — cards, tickets, keys. A pen slot on the spine keeps a writing instrument within reach without opening the cover. The whole thing closes with a robust elastic band that also incorporates an additional pen loop. Each cover is handcrafted in small batches at a Japanese garment factory, and no two will age in exactly the same way. Also fits as an insert in a standard TRAVELER'S Notebook leather cover.
